🏡 Restoring Character: Paint & Render Removal with Specialist Stone Cleaning

We’ve recently completed the exterior preparation works on a beautiful property, where years of heavy paint and render had been hiding the building’s natural character.

🔧 Careful Removal Process

The project involved stripping away old paint layers and existing render across several elevations. Some areas presented a particular challenge, with exceptionally strong paint that resisted conventional methods. To overcome this, we used a specialist TORIK stone cleaning system — a gentle but powerful method that effectively removes paint without damaging the underlying surface.

Once the paint and render were removed, fresh lime render was carefully applied to restore the walls’ breathability and appearance. The render has now been left ready for painting, providing a perfect base for the next stage of the property’s transformation.
